I've been playing this game for a week now, and I have questions about weapons. Up to what point is worth to invest in a 3* elemental weapon?

I mean, I'm in a point were I can't forge a 4* elemental weapon yet (got the smithy lvl, but lack rare materials), so it is worth to make a elemental 3* weapon over a 4* mid tree weapon?

I guess that 5* elemental are very hard to obtain and im not gonna get one in a long time, but then again, is worth to invest in a 4* elemental over a mid 5* weapon?

For a more specific case, im building a rod for lucretia for the upcoming event. Should I go with a 3* max unbound light rod or keep going for a non-unbound 4* light weapon if im able to farm the needed materials?

I would start with 3* elementals till you can make 4* t2 weapons. The damage you do is slightly higher with a 3* t3 (if you match charecters element to said weapon) from a 4* t2 from lv1 stat wise, but 4* t2 weapons have way more versatility for everyone, the weapon skill is available for everyone and has a higher lv cap, plus easier to make. A MUB 4* t2 weapon can carry till endgame so focus on those till then. Some 4* t3 weapons are worth investing BUT 5* t2 weapons MUB do better based on what ive stated, so work to 4* t2 MUB (max unbound) for each weapon type, then work your base till you can make 5* t2 but watch those weapon skills, some do dps while others buff/heal

actually, 4* elemental weapons are easier to make than 5* t2 and an unbound 4* elemental give you a better bonus than a MUB 5* t2. 4* elemental weapons can be used on all endgame content at the moment, so they are still worth making.
