Being essentially Luca 2.0, Rawn brings a lot to the table in terms of stats and utility. Though competing with Amane as a ranged Light damage dealer, the Wild Hunter’s Strength reduction and stun kit make him a good addition to any Light team.
Rawn isn’t without his limitations, however; Although Striker’s Strength will prove useful during Imperial Onslaught, it’s completely useless against single bosses. Furthermore, Bows are unwieldy weapons with clunky Force Strikes and non-tracking basic attacks. With this in mind, some may find that the Wand user Amane provides more consistent results.
Stunned Punisher directly compliments Critter Slayer’s stun, allowing for short burst windows.
Poison Res 100% shines during Shadow IO, allowing him to maneuver freely around spikes and guaranteeing shapeshifting uptime. Stacking Striker’s Strength is a non-issue due to the plentiful enemies.
Subpar weapon class
Overall, bows are not reliable, leading to less consistent damage output. Many enemies simply walk out of the Force Strike radius, making Striker’s Strength tricky to stack.
Lackluster boss damage
Striker’s Strength is only relevant in quests with enemies to stack up on. Some bosses are immune to stun, invalidating much of Rawn’s kit.
- Lindworm grants the highest boost to raw damage.
- Halloween Silke increases both HP and STR while also providing a powerful single-target DPS skill.
- Jupiter is easily accessible and unbound, with an okay boost to Strength.
Thunderbow is easily the strongest choice, with a powerful Fiend Crush-like skill.
The Holy Bow has a heal, which feels out of place on a DPS adventurer but is otherwise a strong choice in midgame.
Galvanic Bow is an affordable option, complimented by a minor damage skill.
Flurry Strength: Flash of Genius, Dueling Dancers
Skill Damage: Flower in the Fray, Luca’s Prank, Happier Times, Revolutionary Magic, Liber Grimortis
