Gliding into the 5★ launch pool is Hawk, a Wind Bow user whose kit is built around inflicting Stun. While he faced much criticism for being reliant on laggy Force Strikes, improvements to the Bow weapon type have left him in good standing. His Stun kit, along with full Freeze immunity, make him a great pick for Imperial Onslaught and adequate against Mercury as well.
With ample Strength and two attacking Skills, Hawk does excellent Wind damage from afar.
Hawk fills a narrow niche as a freeze-immune Wind Adventurer ideal for Imperial Onslaught. While this does hurt him a bit for Mercury, his nature as a Ranged weapon type makes it easy to avoid Bog on that quest.
When many bosses are resistant to Stun (with Dragon Trials sporting full immunity) Hawk finds himself reliant on a gimmick that’s situational at best.
For Stunned Punisher and Savage Hawk to reach full potential, Hawk must attack enemies while they are Stunned. This amounts to a narrow window, considering the brief duration of Stun.
- Zephyr greatly amplifies Strength by 40-60% and provides even further opportunity to Stun.
- Roc has the standard 30-45% Strength boost and an excellent AoE attack in Tactical Vortex.
- High Midgardsormr pairs well with any Wind Adventurer.
