About

While Elisanne has taken quite a liking to her Halloween costume, she still feels more than a little embarrassed to actually wear it. Which of these feelings will win out in the end? Only the vampire herself can decide...

Overview

Elisanne’s Halloween variant brings a lot of utility to the table with her balanced stats and extremely synergistic active skills that buff both the team and herself. Alongside an unconditional boost to Skill damage, immunity to Curse and Gauge Accelerator to reduce a boss’s time in Overdrive, she’s a complete kit with no true flaws.

Sacred Maiden

Halloween Elisanne's first skill is so vital to her kit that is needs a thorough explanation to utilize properly: Sacred Maiden begins in Phase I, which does AoE damage to a large area in front of her. This initial use activates Skill Shift and places the skill in Phase II. During this state, she must activate Sacred Maiden again for the skill to do damage in addition to providing a team-wide STR buff, which then activates its final Phase III. Sacred Maiden must be activated once more while in this phase to not only do damage and refresh the STR buff, but also apply a party-wide heal before resetting to Phase I. Failure to quickly activate the skill in time during any portion of this chain will cause a 'Skill Reset' to occur, placing the skill back into Phase I.

While fairly complex in comparison to most other adventurers, chaining Sacred Maiden in rapid succession is key to seeing her full potential and grants Halloween Elisanne a well deserved position as a valuable support unit in nearly any team composition.

Strengths

Damage Support

Her entire kit orients her as an offensive powerhouse, dealing massive damage with both skills. On top of that, they come with powerful secondary effects that further improve the entire team's damage output.

30/35% Gauge Accelerator

Halloween Elisanne is the first Adventurer to have this ability, assisting the whole team in getting a boss to the Break state quicker. As it reduces the time spent dealing with a boss’s Overdrive attack pattern and greatly benefit teammates with Broken Punisher Abilities, it's a great Ability with no true downfalls.

100% Curse Resistance

Curse prevents an Adventurer from using their skills for a long duration and having immunity to the affliction is a significant boon to Halloween Elisanne. Since Sacred Maiden must be used many times to see its full potential and Mischief Maker assists in speeding up these skill rotations, this prevents any complications of skill downtime during a difficult battle.

Weaknesses

Long Skill Animations

Despite the great utility of both of Halloween Elisanne’s skills, they both have considerably long animations that can cause her to be left in a bad place after activation. They are both multi-hit as well and many bosses are fairly mobile, limiting how consistently she will be able to land all of the damage from either of her skills in some cases. With practice and understanding boss patterns, this can be used to your advantage, as this translates to a massive length of iframes to avoid damage.

Sacred Maiden Phase III can be difficult to trigger

This skill functions very similarly to Mikoto’s Ravenous Fire skill in how it chains with itself to augment follow-up activations. Outside of boss battles or combat with waves of enemies, you'll rarely be able to cycle through the skill's entire rotation. While the third use comes with a team-wide healing effect, it can only be triggered by using the skill within 15 seconds of its second use. Even with the added SP generated by Mischief Maker, the movement of an enemy boss and the need to evade incoming attacks will often make it difficult or impossible to get the healing trigger without hitting a Broken boss or having an ally immobilize them.

Dragon Recommendations

Lindworm While not a 5-star dragon, Lindworm offers a powerful +30/45% Strength to the user, currently the strongest available for Light element Adventurers. With Halloween Elisanne being a Spear user with boosted skill damage, she benefits the most from a raw Strength boost the most.

Jeanne D’Arc Despite the lack of a Strength boost, Jeanne provides a massive amount of health and her active skill is both a damage skill and a party wide Defense buff. It lasts 15 seconds and is great in that it can trigger any doublebuff effects the team has and can even work for Halloween Elisanne herself when she is equipped with Valiant Crown.

Halloween Silke Thematic and with a hybrid boost to Strength and HP alike, Halloween Silke adds a decent amount of damage and survivability to Halloween Elisanne while also having a damage skill that debuffs the enemy’s own Strength, adding greater survivability to both herself and her team as well.

Wyrmprint Recommendations

Halloween Elisanne should be equipped with Skill Damage Wymrprints that improves her powerful skills even further.

As as Event Wyrmprint, Plunder Pals is considerably easier to fully unbind for the increased boost and is essentially ‘free’ for those who played the Trick or Treasure holiday event.
