Obtainable as a 5
Hailing from the Kingdom of Nifl, Fjorm Princess of Ice comes to us as a Water Lance user. With 100% Skill Prep, Fjorm joins the Freeze Cheese club thanks to her S1 Frigid Smash inflicting Freeze and dealing line damage. However, it's her S2, Ice Mirror, that is really interesting-- this attack essentially reflects back damage with a multiplier, dealing moderate damage if Fjorm is unharmed during its short window. When Fjorm is hit, massive damage goes back to the assailant. If timed correctly around predictable damage, this can carve away huge chunks of HP against bosses such as High Brunhilda.
Amazing active Skills
With an instant CC in Frigid Smash and a potentially massive damage through Ice Mirror, Fjorm is ready to unleash frozen death on her foes.
Powerful one-time buff
Last Bravery can turn defeat into victory, or give a team a boost right at the start of a fight. Either way, 30% Strength and 40% defense for 15 seconds is a huge buff.
Fjorm's abilities require her to get dangerously low to get the most out of them. A miscalculation on the players part can end in her death instead of a huge Ice Mirror or Last Bravery trigger. This isn't helped by the fact that Fjorm's HP stat is on the low side.
Fierce competition for Water Lance
Between Xainfried, Elisanne, and now Fjorm, the spot for Water Lance in a party has a lot of competition, especially since Elisanne is free. While Fjorm is powerful, players will have to decide if she's worth investing into over less meta but more available units.
- Leviathan/DY!Jeanne: These are the best Water DPS dragons, with Leviathan being a bit better due to Fjorm's lack of focus on crit.
- Vodyanoy: A budget 4★ option with a good strength boost.
- High Mercury: The F2P dragon of choice for Fjorm. While mixed dragons are not as good as pure Strength, she's still a powerful option.
- Poseidon: This mixed dragon is a good pick if you lack pure Strength choices.
Ocean Lord: The 5★ IO lance brings a powerful stat boost, and a useful team heal especially nice with Fjorm's reckless playstyle.
Vortext Beast: Available from Void Chimera, this budget lance is best suited for wave content like IO where its Slayer's Strength buff can activate. Don't bring it to High Brunhilda.
Strohm Mare: Void Agni gives the materials for this 5★ lance, and it's a good choice. Its Full HP Defense Buff doesn't quite mesh well with the rest of Fjorm's kit, but the High Brunhilda's Bane ability is powerful in that fight, and it is nearly required for certain suicide builds.
Fjorm wants more Skill Damage to annihilate her foes, and her low health playstyle makes Last Offense a decent pick.
Tough Love is a great pick for Fjorm, as are Valiant Crown and Resounding Rendition. For secondary prints, Jewels of the Sun and Stellar Show are good choices.
