The Encouraging Cheerleader embodies the role of a true support, forsaking personal damage to provide a slew of team buffs. Serving as Flame’s version of Noelle / Elisanne, Emma plays even further into her supportive role by padding her team’s survivability. Vigorous Defense is an excellent accessory Skill that rounds out Emma’s status as a team player and booster of team spirit.

Emma’s claim to fame, Pom-pom Pump, is potent, low cost, and long lasting.
Robust Peripheral Support
Although innate Buff Time and a potent Strength buff alone would make Emma a great adventurer, her secondary buffs add icing on the cake. Emma offers Primed Strength, a %HP shield, and another Doublebuff source for Ramona.
Nonexistent Individual Damage
The absence of attack Skills places higher priority on having strong teammates that will put her support buffs to good use.
Despite her defensive utility, Emma’s lack of Stun immunity leaves her little room for error when tackling High Midgardsormr’s Trial.
Only Buffs Flame units
Mirroring Noelle, Emma is only relevant within her element and cannot be flexed to other content.
Cerberus / Agni grant the highest damage boost, as Emma lacks any damaging Skills.
Prometheus / HBH give Emma some wiggle room with regards to taking damage.
Ifrit is easily unbound and provides a usable level of Strength.

Pair 1: Buff Time and Skill Haste are the cornerstones of any support unit. Bellathorna is a suitable budget pick.
